History: Our View

In December 2012, we moved into our new condo.  It's in a complex called "Harbor View" in Keyport, NJ and all the units look out over the Keyport Yacht Club's mooring field.  As the spring of 2013 progressed, we watched as first the mooring balls appeared, then one by one the sailboats appeared.  Once they launched their season, we watched their launch boats deliver and retrieve people from their boats.  It made for a nice dynamic view... always something interesting out there and so much of it I didn't know what was happening.

The skies were wonderful and added their own variety of color.

Watching storms was especially interesting... even more so when they stayed over Staten Island leaving me a clear sky under which I could practice catching "lightening shots".

We thoroughly enjoyed that summer - especially dinners on the deck - but the dinner discussions soon turned to "maybe we should try and get a sailboat ride".
